Two Really Cool Homes.. 

Sometimes in life things happen that just make you feel good about yourself.. Today in what seemed like a few months of just making ends meet, struggling upstart company, and other emergencies, unplanned events, then all of the sudden you get a perfect day.. Today everything seemed to go right.. The new 85,000 line of credit came in, store ortders totalling over 15,000 thousand dollars were done over the weekend, and other pending matters seemed to fall into place nicely along expected lines.. so to everyone out there.. I say Smile and make tioday a good day..

Well changing the subject below are two really nice modern homes I just happen to feel real good about and since I have decided to make today about feeling good and just having a smile on my face I will share them with all of you in the hopes they do the same for you..

Black Exterior and White Interior Home in Hollywood Hills

This stunning home in Hollywood Hills: Nakahouse by XTEN Architecture. Home location at Los Angeles, California, USA with South and West are views of the Beechwood Canyon; to the East is a protected natural ravine, with a view of Griffith Park Observatory in the distance. Here are the home design with black exterior and white interior. The interior was completely reconfigured however, and the exterior was opened up to the hillside views and the natural beauty of the surroundings. A large terrace was added to link the kitchen and dining area with the living room, with a steel stair leading to a rooftop sundeck. Terraces were also added to the bedroom wing and the upper master bedroom suite to extend the interior spaces through floor to ceiling glass sliding panels that disappear into adjacent walls when open. The contrast between the black exterior and white interior of the house is intentional and total. While the exterior is perceived as a specific finite and irregular object in the landscape the opposite occurs inside the building. The rooftop deck is the perfect place to enjoy sun in perfect privacy. I think the only thing that this perfect black-and-white symphony lacks is a swimming pool but anyway the house is amazingly stylish. Two unique homes...

The following two houses are very unique and have their own original ideas and designs. The first one designed in mostly white is not my favorite of the two because although I think its a beautiful home and design, I tend not to like an all white home with no impact colors. I just personally think color adds so much to a home and a house that uses impact colors to point out and highlight its strong design points is much better for the eye and is stimulating..

contemporary house design by CEI Architecture

Here are the contemporary waterfront house design with located on the shores of Osoyoos Lake in British Columbia, Canada. this building incorporates minimal openings on the west side and is mostly transparent on the east, taking full advantage of the light bouncing off the lake. spaces were stacked on one another to create a two-storey home, with a roof garden for relaxing or entertaining. Living spaces such as the living room, dining room and kitchen are located on the main floor, offering easy access to the lake. A guest bedroom and washroom are also located on the main floor. The living spaces benefit from the east exposure, which allows the morning sun to penetrate the spaces. In the evening the harsh summer sun is blocked by the solid south wall. The second floor includes all bedrooms, including the laundry and a recreation room off the roof garden.
